Student Mission Exploration Process 2024

High school is a crucial time for students to discover and gain a greater vision for their lives. Thus, GCA has prayerfully launched a Student Missional Exploration Process (SMEP) for selected high school students. The project aims to help students engage in missional living. Starting with the Kickoff Retreat on April 26-27, 2024, the selected students will go through the process outlined below. We pray that God will add favor to the project and the future emphasis on Students at GCA.

High School years are a crucial time
Many churches are small and have few resources for their youth
Gen Z is experiencing great challenges with identity, Internet & Social Media
Many stop attending church in college

Students are capable & gifted to serve now
Students learn best in Physical, Emotional, and Socially Immersive settings.
We can form a Missional Community with a select group of students from different churches
Students will deep dive into Living on Mission and experiening God.
Estimated Total Cost: $2400 per student (Including mission costs and application fees) - See details Below for Parent and church portions of cost
Potential Sponsors: Sending Church, SBC Partners, and GCA
Requirements: Pastoral Endorsement, Parental Permission,
Student Application, and Approval
